A Life in Pigment

My practice is rooted in plein air observation and the quiet discipline of the studio. I work primarily in oils, building surfaces slowly to catch the specific temperature of a moment—never the literal scene alone, but the feeling of standing inside it.

Process & Materials

I grind some of my own pigments and prefer linen supports for their tooth and honesty. Each piece begins as small studies in graphite before moving to color; mistakes are sanded back and reworked until the surface breathes.

Exhibitions

Recent work has been shown in regional galleries and private collections across Europe. Commissions are considered on a limited basis.
